6X4 OIL ON CANVAS BOARD
BACKLIT
I have been gone for a week and a half! I will be posting works from the 7D Cody workshop while I get back in my groove here in my studio.
This is an aspen study, it was a gorgeous morning, sunshine, crisp air, sunlight streaming through. I had the most fun ever spending a week with a fabulous group of artists, Mr Reid Galey, pushed me through some pretty difficult landscape issues. 50 mph wind at times, good fishing, lots of giggling. Then lets not forget the Wiki up-don't even know how to spell it, but it was an awesome home made steam tent. Thanks 7D!

I will be posting sporadically for the next week and a half, off to a ranch outside of Cody Wyoming to paint with my painting friends. Reid Galey will be the teacher and ring leader. He is an awesome artist. I have attended his workshop for a couple of years now. He has taught me to paint outdoors, with his keen eye for shape, value and composition, I always come away with a better understanding of the art world.

WILD HORSE RUN
Just back from a too relaxing camping trip. All we do is nap and eat and watch the fire. Life is good. Now back to painting!
Before I left, a friend noticed that someone had copied the image of "blond bombshell" off of my eBay or off of daily painters, had watermarked it with her name and listed it on eBay for $20.00. Nothing is more discouraging especially when you contact eBay and their response is that they cannot help you. Fortunate for me my friend Ellepace persevered for me and the item is no longer on eBay. For those that need a reminder
